“Bocce ball” refers to the italian game of bocce, and in the tune this sport is used as a metaphor for nightlife at the club scenes. With “Bocce ball”, kontaktor wishes to challenge the traditional soundscape of dance-music. The sometimes static pulse of the genre is warmed up by “bluesy” guitar-riffs and an acoustic drum-set is supplementing the electronic beat.
